A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2020-357 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to relocate existing water main, for property located at 1221 Broadway (MWS Projects No. 19-WL-135 and 20-SL-19 and Proposal No. 2020M-050ES-002).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2020-357, approved August 5, 2020, authorized the abandonment of approximately 106 linear feet of existing 12 inch sanitary sewer main, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 97 linear feet of new 12 inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two sanitary sewer manholes, two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 1221 Broadway; and,
WHEREAS, the relocation of approximately 47 linear feet of existing six inch water main, for property located at 1221 Broadway, is needed to construct Project Nos. 19-WL-135 and 20-SL-19; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2020M-050ES-002 on August 26, 2020, for the relocation of said existing water main; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2020-357 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2020-357 is hereby amended deleting Section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 106 linear feet of existing 12 inch sanitary sewer main, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, to relocate approximately 47 linear feet of existing six inch water main, and to accept approximately 97 linear feet of new 12 inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two sanitary sewer manholes, two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 1221 Broadway, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
