A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes, and to accept new public sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 560 Great Circle Road, also known as Watkins South (MWS Project No. 23-SL-78 and Proposal No. 2024M-099ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 312 linear feet of existing 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 378 linear feet of existing 18-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), and two sanitary sewer manholes, and the acceptance of approximately 312 linear feet of new 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 393 linear feet of new 18-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), and three new sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 560 Great Circle Road, also known as Watkins South, are needed to construct project number 23-SL-78; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-099ES-001 on August 8, 2024, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 312 linear feet of existing 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 378 linear feet of existing 18-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), and two sanitary sewer manholes, and to accept approximately 312 linear feet of new 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 393 linear feet of new 18-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), and three new sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 560 Great Circle Road, also known as Watkins Sou...
