WHEREAS, Section 5.04.020 of the Metropolitan Code provides that all leases of equipment shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council if the annual expenditure for the lease exceeds five thousand dollars ($5,000); and,
WHEREAS, the annual expenditure to use this equipment pursuant to the attached contract with Grand Central Party Rental, Inc. dba Grand Tent Event will exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000); and,
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this contract be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the Contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Grand Central Party Rental, Inc. dba Grand Tent Event for the provision of tent rental services, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution approves a contract between the Metropolitan Government ("Metro") and Grand Central Party Rental, Inc. d/b/a Grand Tent Event for tent rental services. Grand Tent Event will provide delivery, set-up, tear-down and site clean-up services in relation to tent rental services.
Section 5.04.020 of the Metropolitan Code of Law provides that all equipment leases shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council, if the annual expenditure for the lease exceeds $5,000.
