WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Friends of Shelby Park & Bottoms to provide various repair and construction improvements to Shelby Park and Bottoms approved by RS2021-858; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to provide that Friends of Shelby Parks and Bottoms will be invoiced monthly by Metro Parks for the repairs to the Mission Shelter, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the grant by and between the Friends of Shelby Park & Bottoms and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, to provide various repair and construction improvements to Shelby Park and Bottoms, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
