A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main, and to accept new public water main and new sanitary sewer manhole, for two properties located at 15 and 17 Music Circle South, also known as BBOP (MWS Project Nos. 26-WL-100 and 26-SL-129 and Proposal No. 2026M-085ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 272 linear feet of existing six-inch water main, and the acceptance of approximately 272 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP) and one new sanitary sewer manhole, for two properties located at 15 and 17 Music Circle South, also known as BBOP, are needed to construct project numbers 26-WL-100 and 26-SL-129; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M085ES-001 on August 27, 2026, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water mains and sanitary sewer manhole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 272 linear feet of existing six-inch water main, and to accept approximately 272 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP) and one new sanitary sewer manhole, for two properties located at 15 and 17 Music Circle South, also known as BBOP, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
