WHEREAS, the Centennial Park Conservancy has awarded an in-kind grant with an estimated value of $6,876.00 with no cash match required to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, for the purchase and installation of track lighting in the Parthenon art gallery, a copy of which in-kind grant is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this in-kind grant be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the in-kind grant by and between the Centennial Park Conservancy, with an estimated value of $6,876.00, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, for the purchase and installation of track lighting in the Parthenon art gallery, a copy of which in-kind grant is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the in-kind grant be appropriated to the Parks and Recreation Department.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
