A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main, and to accept new public water and sanitary sewer main, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes, for three properties located at 3807 and 3817 Hamilton Church Road and Hamilton Church Road (unnumbered) (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-13 and 25-SL-31 and Proposal No. 2025M-099ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 94 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main, and the acceptance of approximately 5,354 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 873 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 3,818 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 164 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), nine fire hydrant assemblies, and 21 sanitary sewer manholes, for three properties located at 3807 and 3817 Hamilton Church Road and Hamilton Church Road (unnumbered), are needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-13 and 25-SL-31; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-099ES-001 on June 25, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 94 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main, and to accept approximately 5,354 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 873 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 3,818 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main...
