An ordinance to authorize building material restrictions and requirements for BL2025-1175, a proposed Conservation Zoning Overlay District for various properties located north of Shackleford Road, west of Belmont Boulevard, east of Oriole Place and south of Glen Echo Road, zoned RS10 and R10 (38 acres), of which is described herein (Proposal No. 2026NHC-001-001). THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE REQUIRES CERTAIN MATERIALS TO BE RESTRICTED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the following building material restrictions and requirements as a part of BL2025-1175, a proposed Conservation Zoning Overlay District for various properties located north of Shackleford Road, west of Belmont Boulevard, east of Oriole Place and south of Glen Echo Road, zoned RS10 and R10 (38 acres), as described in Exhibit A, are hereby authorized.
Section 2. Any request for a waiver from part or all of the building materials restrictions and requirements contained within this ordinance shall be submitted to the Metropolitan Historic Zoning Commission at the time of application for a historic preservation permit.
Section 3. The Metropolitan Clerk is directed to publish a notice announcing such change in a newspaper of general circulation within five days following final passage.
Section 4. That this ordinance take effect immediately after its passage and such change be published in a newspaper of general circulation
