An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept new public sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 1414 3rd Avenue North, also known as The Aster, (MWS Project No. 22-SL-263 and Proposal No. 2023M-131ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 545 linear feet of existing 12-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and one sanitary sewer manhole, and the acceptance of approximately 545 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and one sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 1414 3rd Avenue North, also known as The Aster, are needed to construct project number 22-SL-263; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2023M-131ES-001 on August 7, 2023, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 545 linear feet of existing 12-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and one sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept approximately 545 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and one sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 1414 3rd Avenue North, also known as The Aster, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
