An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and to accept new sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole and easement, for property located at 3800 Charlotte Avenue (MWS Project No. 22-SL-02 and Proposal No. 2022M-034ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 217 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main (concrete), one sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and the acceptance of approximately 227 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easement, for property located at 3800 Charlotte Avenue, are needed to construct project number 22-SL-02; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-034ES-001 on March 8, 2022, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 217 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main (concrete), one sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and to accept approximately 227 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easement, for property located at 3800 Charlotte Avenue, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
