An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water and sanitary sewer main, and to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes, the replacement of sanitary sewer manhole, the relocation of fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 2415 Vanderbilt Place, also known as Vanderbilt University - CUI Phase A & B, (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-14 and 25-SL-36; and Proposal No. 2025M-161ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 630 linear feet of existing six-inch water main, approximately 61 linear feet of existing 20-inch water main and approximately 495 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), and the acceptance of approximately 650 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 61 linear feet of new 20-inch water main (DIP), approximately 281 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 214 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four sanitary sewer manholes, the replacement of one sanitary sewer manhole, the relocation of two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 2415 Vanderbilt Place, also known as Vanderbilt University - CUI Phase A & B, are needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-14 and 25-SL-36; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-161ES-001 on December 5, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
