WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County owns a school known as Joelton Middle School located at 3527 Old Clarksville Pike (Parcel No. 02200001900); and,
WHEREAS, the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has requested a permanent anchor easement, as described in the Easement Agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, across said property for the purpose of erecting, maintaining, repairing and rebuilding stub poles, anchors and necessary guy wires.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:
Section 1. The granting of a permanent easement to the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the purpose of erecting, maintaining, repairing and rebuilding stub poles, anchors and necessary guy wires, as described in the Easement Agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Director of Public Property Administration or his designee is hereby authorized to grant said easement and to execute the necessary documents pertaining thereto.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
