WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County previously entered into a grant agreement with the Tennessee Historical Commission to complete an individual National Register of Historic Places nomination for the Elks Lodge (formerly Club Baron) at 2614 Jefferson Street and an architectural survey in the Donelson area, approved by RS2024-165; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to update the grantee name, change the Edison Vendor ID number, update the terms and conditions of the grant, and extend the end date to September 30, 2025, and;
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the grant by and between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the Tennessee Historical Commission to complete an individual National Register of Historic Places nomination for the Elks Lodge (formerly Club Baron) at 2614 Jefferson Street and an architectural survey in the Donelson area, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
