An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water mains, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, and to accept new public water mains, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA - HCA and SFA Hangars (MWS Project No. 24-WL-32 and Proposal No. 2024M-117ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 325 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 259 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 40 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 269 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 349 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA - HCA and SFA Hangars, are needed to construct project number 24-WL-32; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-117ES-001 on September 20, 2024, for the abandonment and the acceptance of said public water mains, fire hydrant assemblies and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 325 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 259 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, and to accept approximately 40 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 269 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 349 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA - HCA and SFA Hangars, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and...
