A resolution approving an amendment to the intergovernmental license agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the United States of America, acting by and through the Department of Defense, to enter certain property located at 1414 County Hospital Road owned by the Metropolitan Government, for limited military training purposes. WHEREAS, Resolution No. RS2023-2292 approved a license agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the United States of America, acting by and through the Department of Defense, to enter property owned by the Metropolitan Government located at 1414 County Hospital Road; and,
WHEREAS, the license agreement provides a revocable license to the United States, acting by and through the Department of Defense, to enter the aforementioned property to conduct military training for Department of Defense personnel; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the license agreement, as reflected in the amendment attached hereto and incorporated herein; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the amendment to the license agreement be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1: That the amendment to the license agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the United States of America, acting by and through the Department of Defense, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2: That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
