An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, and to accept new public water main, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA TARI (MWS Project No. 23-WL-150 and Proposal No. 2024M-024ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 156 linear feet of existing 10-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,618 linear feet of existing 16-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 332 linear feet of new 10-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,918 linear feet of new 16-inch water main (DIP), four fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA TARI, are needed to construct project number 23-WL-150; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-024ES-001 on February 1, 2024, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water main, fire hydrant assemblies and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 156 linear feet of existing 10-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,618 linear feet of existing 16-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, and to accept approximately 332 linear feet of new 10-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,918 linear feet of new 16-inch water main (DIP), four fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA TARI, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
