WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 370 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (UKN), approximately 55 linear feet of existing six-inch water main (PVC) and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 6,799 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 74 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 795 linear feet of new three-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), approximately 1,269 linear feet of new two-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), approximately 3,647 linear feet of new one and a half-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), 15 fire hydrant assemblies, one odor control station and easements, for property located at 1053 Tulip Grove Road, also known as Williamson Homestead, are needed to construct project numbers 23-WL-93 and 23-SL-258; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-122ES-001 on July 24, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer force mains, fire hydrant assemblies, odor control station and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 370 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (UKN), approximately 55 linear feet of existing six-inch water main (PVC) and easements, and to accept approximately 6,799 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 74 linear feet of ...
