An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to replace a sanitary sewer force main, to construct a new sanitary sewer force main, and to acquire temporary easements through negotiation, condemnation and acceptance, for the Clean Water Nashville OAP Howse Avenue Force Main Replacement Project, for properties located along Howse Avenue, Rothwood Avenue, Geisen Drive, Idlewild Court, and Idlewild Place (MWS Project No. 21-SC-0002, Clean Water Nashville OAP Project C.53.01, and Proposal No. 2021M-084ES-001).

WHEREAS, the replacement of approximately 3,200 linear feet of existing 16 inch sanitary sewer force main, and the construction of approximately 500 linear feet of new 18 inch sanitary sewer force main, for properties located along Howse Avenue, Rothwood Avenue, Geisen Drive, Idlewild Court, and Idlewild Place, are needed to construct MWS Project No. 21-SC-0002; and,
WHEREAS, the negotiation, condemnation and acceptance of temporary easements for two properties at Geisen Drive (unnumbered) and 1220 Idlewild Place, are needed to construct MWS Project No. 21-SC-0002; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2021M-084ES-001 on October 20, 2021, for the replacement and construction of said sanitary sewer force mains, and for the negotiation, condemnation and acceptance of temporary easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to replace approximately 3,200 linear feet of existing 16 inch sanitary sewer force main, and to construct approximately 500 linear feet of new 18 inch sanitary sewer force main, for properties located along Howse Avenue, Rothwood Avenue, Geisen Drive, Idlewild Court, and Idlewild Place, and to negotiate, condemn and accept temporary easements, for two properties at Geisen Drive (unnumbered) ...
