An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water and sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept new water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 301 15th Avenue North and 302 McMillin Street, also known as 15th Avenue North Mixed Use Development (MWS Project Nos. 22-WL-53 and 22-SL-05 and Proposal No. 2023M-080ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 236 linear feet of existing six-inch water main (CIP), approximately 396 linear feet of existing six-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), approximately 240 linear feet of existing 10-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), three sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 238 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 559 linear feet of new ten-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fire hydrant assembly, five sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 301 15th Avenue North and 302 McMillin Street, also known as 15th Avenue north Mixed Use Development, are needed to construct project numbers 22-WL-53 and 22-SL-05; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2023M-080ES-001 on June 7, 2023, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sewer mains, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 236 linear feet of existing six-inch water main (CIP), approximately 396 linear feet of existing six-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), approximately 240 linear feet of existing 10-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), three sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept approximately 238 linear fe...
