An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for six properties located at Gray Street and Martin Street, also known as Martin and Gray Townhomes (MWS Project No. 25-SL-158 and Proposal No. 2025M-179ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 107 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main(PVC), approximately 311 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), eight sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for six properties located at Gray Street and Martin Street, also known as Martin and Gray Townhomes, is needed to construct Project No. 25-SL-158; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-179ES-001 on December 4, 2025, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 107 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main(PVC), approximately 311 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), eight sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for six properties located at Gray Street and Martin Street, also known as Martin and Gray Townhomes, as shown on Exhibits 1 and 2, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2.                     The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3.                     Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4.                     This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
