An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 7211 Carothers Road, also known as Carothers Crossing Phase 10 Section 2A (MWS Project Nos. 24-WL-09 and 24-SL-21 and Proposal No. 2024M-052ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,237 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,155 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new fire hydrant assemblies, 10 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 7211 Carothers Road, also known as Carothers Crossing Phase 10 Section 2A, is needed to construct project numbers 24-WL-09 and 24-SL-21; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-052ES-001 on April 12, 2024, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,237 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,155 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new fire hydrant assemblies, 10 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 7211 Carothers Road, also known as Carothers Crossing Phase 10 Section 2A, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
