WHEREAS, Andrew Reed, P.E. of Thomas & Hutton ("Applicant") has requested that Alley #2076 between Alley #2075 and Alley #2077 be abandoned; and,
WHEREAS, Applicant has further requested that Alley #2077 between Stanley Street and Alley #2078 be abandoned; and,
WHEREAS, Applicant has further requested that Alley #2078 between Alley #2077 and Alley #2075 be abandoned; and,
WHEREAS, Applicant has further requested that Stanley Street between Nance Lane and Alley #2077 be abandoned; and,
WHEREAS, all the abutting property owners have consented to the abandonment; and,
WHEREAS, the alleys proposed for abandonment are of no further use for Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That abandonment of Alley #2076 right-of-way, from Alley #2075 to Alley #2077, as depicted on the maps attached to this ordinance, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That abandonment of Alley #2077 right-of-way, from Stanley Street to Alley #2078, as depicted on the maps attached to this ordinance, is hereby approved.
Section 3. That abandonment of Alley #2078 right-of-way, from Alley #2077 to Alley #2075, as depicted on the maps attached to this ordinance, is hereby approved.
Section 4. That abandonment of Stanley Street right-of-way, from Nance Lane to Alley #2077, as depicted on the maps attached to this ordinance, is hereby approved.
Section 5. That utility easements are herein retained by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, its agents, servants, and/or contractors and utility companies operating under franchise(s) from the Metropolitan Government for the right to enter, construct, operate, maintain, repair, rebuild, enlarge, and patrol its now ex...
