An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to acquire permanent and temporary easements through negotiation and acceptance, for two properties located at 6937 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Brentwood Tennessee, for the Nolensville Trunk Sewer Project (Project No. 25-SC-0020 and Proposal No. 2026M-006ES-001).

WHEREAS, the negotiation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements, for two properties located at 6937 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Brentwood Tennessee, is needed to construct the Nolensville Trunk Sewer project number 25-SC-0020; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-006ES-001 on February 2, 2026, for the negotiation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to negotiate and accept permanent and temporary easements, for two properties located at 6937 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Brentwood Tennessee, as shown below and on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the negotiations and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
