A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 12782 Old Hickory Boulevard, also known as Mill Ridge, (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-24 and 25-SL-49 and Proposal No. 2025M-085ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 2,330 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 3,670 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two fire hydrant assemblies and 27 sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 12782 Old Hickory Boulevard, also known as Mill Ridge, is needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-24 and 25-SL-49; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-085ES-001 on June 17, 2025, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 2,330 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 3,670 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two fire hydrant assemblies and 27 sanitary sewer manholes, 12782 Old Hickory Boulevard, also known as Mill Ridge, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution....
