A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept new public sanitary sewer main, new sanitary sewer manhole and the rehabilitation of existing public sanitary sewer main, for property located at 210C South 10th Street, also known as 10th and Fatherland (MWS Project No. 23-SL-228 and Proposal No. 2024M-096ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 208 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and one sanitary sewer manhole, and the acceptance of approximately 100 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one new sanitary sewer manhole and the rehabilitation of approximately 114 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), also known as 10th and Fatherland, are needed to construct project number 23-SL-228; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-096ES-001 on July 18, 2024, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 208 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and one sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept approximately 100 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one new sanitary sewer manhole and the rehabilitation of approximately 114 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), also known as 10th and Fatherland, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
