A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 501 South 2nd Street, also known as East Bank Flats (MWS Project No. 25-SL-201 and Proposal No. 2026M-024ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 119 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 180 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and three new sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 501 South 2nd Street, also known as East Bank Flats, is needed to construct project number 25-SL-201; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-024ES-001 on April 3, 2026, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 119 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 180 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and three new sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 501 South 2nd Street, also known as East Bank Flats, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
