A resolution approving amendment one to a grant from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Davidson County General Sessions Court, for the provision of the Tennessee Certified Recovery Court Program to incorporate intensive judicial supervision, treatment services, sanctions, and incentives to address the needs of non-violent offenders with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Davidson County General Sessions Court, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for the provision of the Tennessee Certified Recovery Court Program to incorporate intensive judicial supervision, treatment services, sanctions, and incentives to address the needs of non-violent offenders with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders approved by RS2023-2245; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement to increase the amount of the grant by $4,410.00 from $69,000.00 to $73,410.00, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1: That amendment one to the grant by and between the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Davidson County General Sessions Court, for the provision of the Tennessee Certified Recovery Court Program to incorporate intensive judicial supervision, treatment services, sanctions, and incentives to address the needs of non-violent offenders with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and ...
