A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public sanitary sewer force mains, for two properties located at 9861 Split Log Road and 1565 Sunset Road in Williamson County, also known as 9861 Split Log Road Sewer Extension (MWS Project No. 25-SL-85 and Proposal No. 2026M-018ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 574 linear feet of new one and one half-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC) and approximately 60 linear feet of new one and one quarter-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), for two properties located at 9861 Split Log Road and 1565 Sunset Road in Williamson County, also known as 9861 Split Log Road Sewer Extension, is needed to construct project number 25-SL-85; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-018ES-001 on April 3, 2026, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer force mains.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 574 linear feet of new one and one half-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC) and approximately 60 linear feet of new one and one quarter-inch sanitary sewer force main (PVC), for two properties located at 9861 Split Log Road and 1565 Sunset Road in Williamson County, also known as 9861 Split Log Road Sewer Extension, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
