WHEREAS, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws § 5.04.120, the Metropolitan Council can approve donations, exclusive of donations of real estate, by resolution; and

WHEREAS, Legacy South, LLC owns and plans to develop a parcel of property (the “Property”) at 253 Nesbit Lane in Nashville; and

WHEREAS, infrastructure improvements or other transportation improvements (the “Improvements”) in the vicinity of that intersection will be necessary as the Property and nearby properties develop; and

WHEREAS, as provided in the letter attached as Exhibit 1, the Legacy South, LLC proposes to donate $55,000 to the Metropolitan Government as a contribution towards infrastructure improvements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. Legacy South, LLC proposed donation of $55,000 as a contribution towards the cost of the Improvements, as proposed in Exhibit 1, is approved.

Section 2.  This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution accepts a donation from Legacy South, LLC in the amount of $55,000. This donation will be used towards infrastructure improvements in the vicinity of 253 Nesbitt Lane. Legacy South, LLC is undertaking a project at 253 Nesbitt Lane which will have an impact on infrastructure in the area.

 

The Council is authorized to approve donations by resolution pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws Section 5.04.120.B.
