A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, fire hydrant assembly, and sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 5047 John Hagar Road, also known as Kingsley Park, (MWS Project Nos. 23-WL-39 and 23-SL-91 and Proposal No. 2025M-132ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 75 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fire hydrant assembly and one sanitary sewer manhole, and the acceptance of approximately 2,473 linear feet of new eight-inch water main, approximately 2,296 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 1,829 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), five fire hydrants assemblies and 30 sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 5047 John Hagar Road, also known as Kingsley Park, are needed to construct project numbers 23-WL-39 and 23-SL-91; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-132ES-001 on August 8, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 75 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fire hydrant assembly and one sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept approximately 2,473 linear feet of new eight-inch water main, approximately 2,296 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP)...
