A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, and to accept new public sanitary sewer mains, for two properties located at 310 Peabody Street and 523 3rd Avenue South, offsite of the project location at 712 4th Avenue South, also known as 4th and Elm Offsite Sewer Improvements (MWS Project No. 25-SL-62 and Proposal No. 2025M-108ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 263 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, and the acceptance of approximately 229 linear feet of new 10-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP) and approximately 34 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), for two properties located at 310 Peabody Street and 523 3rd Avenue South, offsite of the project location at 712 4th Avenue South, also known as 4th and Elm Offsite Sewer Improvements, are needed to construct project number 25-SL-62; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-108ES-001 on July 15, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 263 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, and to accept approximately 229 linear feet of new 10-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP) and approximately 34 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), for two properties located at 310 Peabody Street and 523 3rd Avenue South, offsite of the project location at 712 4th Avenue South, also known as 4th and Elm Offsite Sewer Improvements, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto ...
