A resolution approving amendment one to a grant from the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, for funding for the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration, for funding for the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit approved by RS2021-921; and,
WHEREAS, amendment one to the grant agreement amends the following Sections and Attachments:
* Section D.6. Conflicts of Interest is deleted in its entirety and replaced with a new Section D.6;
* Section D.19. Audit Report is deleted in its entirety and replaced with a new Section D.19;
* Section D.27. State Interest in Equipment or Motor Vehicles is deleted in its entirety and replaced with a new Section D.27;
* Section E.6 Capital Asset is added to the grant contract;
* Section E.7 State Sponsored Insurance Plan Enrollment is added to the grant contract;
* Attachment A is deleted in its entirety and replaced with a new Attachment A;
* Attachment A-1 is deleted in its entirety and replaced with a new Attachment A-1; and
* Attachment B is deleted in its entirety.
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the grant by and between the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, for funding for the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor ...
