A resolution approving amendments one and two to a Child and Family Intervention Services grant from the Tennessee Department of Children's Services to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Davidson County Juvenile Court, to provide community-based case management and probation services to children at high risk of state custody.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Davidson County Juvenile Court, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Tennessee Department of Children's Services, to provide community-based case management and probation services to children at high risk of state custody approved by RS2023-2102; and,
WHEREAS, amendment one amends the grant agreement to increase the amount of the grant by $434,333.00 from $434,333.00 to $868,666.00 and extend the end date to June 30, 2025, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, amendment two increases the amount of the grant by $434,333.00 from $868,666.00 to $1,302,999.00 and extends the end date to June 30, 2026, a copy of which amendment two is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendments one and two be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendments one and two to the grant by and between the Tennessee Department of Children's Services and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Davidson County Juvenile Court, to provide community-based case management and probation services to children at high risk of state custody, a copy of which amendments one and two are attached hereto and incorporated herein, are hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
