WHEREAS, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws § 5.04.120, the Metropolitan Council can approve donations, exclusive of donations of real estate, by resolution; and,

WHEREAS, Albion Residential owns and plans to develop a parcel of property at 645 Division in Nashville; and,

WHEREAS, NDOT has conducted an analysis (the “Study”) of larger roadway infrastructure improvements in the Pie Town area; and,

WHEREAS, as provided in the letter attached as Exhibit 1, Albion Residential proposes to donate $15,000 to the Metropolitan Government as a contribution towards the cost of the Study.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                      Albion Residential’s proposed donation of $15,000 as a contribution towards the cost of the Study, as proposed in Exhibit 1, is approved.

Section 2.                       This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution accepts a donation from Albion Residential to the Nashville Department of Transportation in the amount of $15,000. Albion Residential plans to develop a parcel of property at 645 Division. This donation will be used towards the cost of the study for roadway infrastructure improvements associated with the Pie Town Mobility Study.

 

The Council is authorized to approve donations by resolution pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws Section 5.04.120.B.
