An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing water and sanitary sewer mains, a fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept new water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 1420 Adams Street, also known as Modera Germantown (MWS Project Nos. 20-WL-56 and 20-SL-100 and Proposal No. 2020M-093ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 468 linear feet of existing six inch water main, approximately 697 linear feet of existing eight inch water main, approximately 310 linear feet of existing ten inch sanitary sewer main, approximately 196 linear feet of existing 12 inch sanitary sewer main, one fire hydrant assembly, four sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 43 linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP), approximately 903 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), approximately 474 linear feet of new ten inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies, four sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 1420 Adams Street, also known as Modera Germantown, are needed to construct project numbers 20-WL-56 and 20-SL-100; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2020M-093ES-001 on October 30, 2020, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes, and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 468 linear feet of existing six inch water main, approximately 697 linear feet of existing eight inch water main, approximately 310 linear feet of existing ten inch sanitary sewer main, approximately 196 linear feet of existing 12...
