An ordinance amending Section 17.08.030 and 17.16.030 of the Metropolitan Code, Zoning Regulations to change Two-Family uses from being permitted with conditions to being permitted by right in the AG, AR2a, R80, R40, R30, R20, R15, R10, R8, R8-A, R6, and R6-A zoning districts (Proposal No. 2024Z-014TX-001).

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the Zoning District Land Use Table in Section 17.08.030 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended to change the following zoning districts AG, AR2a, R80, R40, R30, R20, R15, R10, R8, R8-A, R6, and R6-A from “Permitted with Conditions” to “Permitted”.
Section 2. That Section 17.16.030, subsection D, of the Metropolitan Code of Laws be deleted in its entirety.
Section 3. The Metropolitan Clerk is directed to publish a notice announcing such change in a newspaper of general circulation within five days following final passage.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication of above said notice announcing such change in a newspaper of general circulation, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
