WHEREAS, the abandonment of one existing fire hydrant assembly, and the acceptance of one new fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 1625 B Meridian Street, also known as 1605 Meridian Street, are needed to construct project number 26-WL-16; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M080ES-001 on August 17, 2026, for the abandonment and acceptance of said fire hydrant assemblies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon one existing fire hydrant assembly, and to accept one new fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 1625 B Meridian Street, also known as 1605 Meridian Street, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
