A resolution approving Amendment 1 to Contract #6548212 between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and National Safety Council to provide teaching materials and student materials for the General Sessions Court Traffic School.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County ("Metro") previously entered into Contract 6548212, pursuant to RS2024-391, with National Safety Council to provide teaching materials and student materials for the General Sessions Court Traffic School; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend this contract by removing the requirement to include a contract number in section 7.1 Proof of Insurance; and,
WHEREAS, the parties which to remove and replace Exhibit A-Pricing to reflect an additional course; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the amendment to the contract be approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Amendment 1 to Contract #6548212 between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the National Safety Council, which reflects updated terms and pricing, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
