An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing stormwater quality access and drainage easement rights, for property located at 550 Great Circle Road (Proposal Nos. 2025M-165ES-001 and 2025M-173ES-001).

WHEREAS, easement rights for an existing 10-foot stormwater quality access easement as recorded in Instrument No. 20050303-0023555, R.O.D.C., TN, for property located at 550 Great Circle Road, are no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, easement rights for an existing 3,428-square-foot stormwater drainage easement as recorded in Instrument No. 20080122-0006149, R.O.D.C., TN, also for property located at 550 Great Circle Road, are no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, the abandonments have been requested by Metro Center North Owner, LLC, owner; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-165ES-001 on October 14, 2025, and mandatory referral No. 2025M-173ES-001 on November 10, 2025, for the abandonment of said easement rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon easement rights for an existing 10-foot stormwater quality access easement as recorded in Instrument No. 20050303-0023555, R.O.D.C., TN, and easement rights for an existing 3,428-square-foot stormwater drainage easement as recorded in Instrument No. 20080122-0006149, R.O.D.C., TN, for property located at 550 Great Circle Road, as shown below and on Exhibit 1, which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment authorized by this ordinance.
