An ordinance authorizing the granting of an overhead and underground easement to the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County on certain property owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Parcel Nos. 09302006800 and 09302008700) (Proposal No. 2025M-066AG-001).

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County owns tracts of land located at 6 Main Street and 116 S 1st Street (Parcel Nos. 09302006800 and 0930200870); and,
WHEREAS, the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has requested an overhead and underground easement, as described in the Easement Agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, across and under said property for the purpose of supplying electricity to a pumping station on Woodland Street; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:
Section 1. The granting of this overhead and underground easement to the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, as described in the Easement Agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, is hereby approved.

Section 2. The Director of Public Property Administration is authorized to grant said easement and to execute the necessary documents pertaining thereto.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
