A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main, and to accept new public water main, relocation of a fire hydrant assembly and vertical relocation of a sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 2244 Hobson Pike, also known as Resurrected Life Chapel (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-90 and 25-SL-229 and Proposal No. 2026M-013ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 102 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), and the acceptance of approximately 102 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), the relocation of one fire hydrant assembly and the vertical relocation of one sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 2244 Hobson Pike, also known as Resurrected Life Chapel, are needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-90 and 25-SL-229; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-013ES-001 on March 3, 2026, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water mains, fire hydrant assembly and sanitary sewer manhole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 102 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), and to accept approximately 102 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), the relocation of one fire hydrant assembly and the vertical relocation of one sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 2244 Hobson Pike, also known as Resurrected Life Chapel, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
