A resolution recognizing the 15th anniversary of M.L. Rose.

WHEREAS, on December 9, 2008, Nashville native Austin Ray opened Melrose Neighborhood Pub on 8th Avenue in the Melrose neighborhood; and

 

WHEREAS, now known as M.L. Rose Craft Beer & Burgers, the restaurant quickly became a neighborhood staple and a comfortable place to unwind and socialize with friends and family; and

 

WHEREAS, offering signature burgers and waffle fries, pub fare including wings and nachos, weekend brunch, and a large selection of craft beers chosen by an exclusive beer council, M.L. Rose is recognized as a local favorite; and

 

WHEREAS, M.L. Rose has received many accolades, including being voted Best Neighborhood Bar and Best Trivia Night by the Nashville Scene’s Readers’ Poll, and is consistently recognized on guides to the best burgers, bars, and brunches in Nashville; and

 

WHEREAS, over the past 15 years M.L. Rose has expanded across Nashville and beyond, with locations in Sylvan Park, Capitol View, and Mt. Juliet, and additional locations set in open in Inglewood and Franklin next year; and

 

WHEREAS, M.L. Rose is part of A.Ray Hospitality, which also owns the Melrose Billiard Parlor and Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen; and 

 

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council congratulate M.L. Rose and Austin Ray for 15 years of success serving Nashville and Davidson County.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

 

Section 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record of recognizing the 15th anniversary of M.L. Rose.

 

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
