WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,662 linear feet of new 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 514 linear feet of new 16-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 199 linear feet of new 18-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and fourteen sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 117B Straton Lane, north of the project location in the Broadmoor Drive right-of-way between 401 Walton Lane and 3101 Dickerson Pike, also known as Broadmoor Offsite Sewer, is needed to construct project number 25-SL-120; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved with conditions mandatory referral No. 2026M-004ES-001 on February 27, 2026, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes; and,
WHEREAS, NES's condition that all work must maintain clearances with any utility poles to prevent undermining the integrity of the base of the poles, will be met as this is standard practice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,662 linear feet of new 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 514 linear feet of new 16-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 199 linear feet of new 18-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and fourteen...
