WHEREAS, Nashville is proudly hosting the 2025 July 4th Celebration; and
WHEREAS, hospitality is the second largest industry in Nashville and in Tennessee, accounting for more than 70,000 jobs in Davidson County; and
WHEREAS, visitor-generating events such as the July 4th Celebration will have a tremendous positive impact on Nashville's local economy, bringing in significant sales tax revenue and additional marketing for the city; and
WHEREAS, the July 4th Celebration is a free, outdoor, live event for the Nashville community and its visitors; and
WHEREAS, recognizing the imperative to minimize the ecological footprint of the show, there is a commitment to integrate drone technology in effort to mitigate the environmental impact, thereby demonstrating a dedication to sustainable practices and innovation; and
WHEREAS, this year, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation is partnering with local organizations to assist those planning to attend the July 4th Celebration; and
WHEREAS, Red Frogs will have stations in Walk of Fame Park and on Second Ave as well as mobile personnel to assist with any guests; and
WHEREAS, KultureCity will create a sensory area for any guests experiencing challenges with excessive lights and noise; and
WHEREAS, Cumberland Heights will create a sober space for guests wishing to enjoy the celebration with other patrons choosing not to consume alcoholic beverages; and
WHEREAS, the Sexual Assault Center has provided Safe Bar Training for all bartenders working vendor tents throughout the footprint; and
