An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 14656 Old Hickory Boulevard, also known as Cothern Properties Phase 1 (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-4 and 25-SL-7 and Proposal No. 2026M-028ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 191 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 3,075 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 2,224 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 1,801 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 306 linear feet of new 14-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), six fire hydrant assemblies, 23 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 14656 Old Hickory Boulevard, also known as Cothern Properties Phase 1, is needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-4 and 25-SL-7; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved with conditions mandatory referral No. 2026M-028ES-001 on May 1, 2026, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements; and,
WHEREAS, the Historic Commission's condition that a construction fence during site work to be replaced by a permanent fence surrounding Peebles Cemetery will be met by the developer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 191 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 3,075 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 2,224 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 1,801 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 306 linear feet of new 14-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP)...
