WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 30 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP) and one new fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 5617 B Valley View Road, also known as Brentwood Chase, is needed to construct project number 24-WL-23; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-102ES-001 on August 8, 2024, for the acceptance of new water main and a new fire hydrant assembly; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 30 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP) and one new fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 5617 B Valley View Road, also known as Brentwood Chase, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
