A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2024-368 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon public water main, and to accept public water main, for property located at 311 3rd Avenue South, also known as Motto Hotel Revision 1, (MWS Project Nos. 24-WL-07 and 24-SL-42 and 2024M-053ES-002).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2024-368, approved June 7, 2024, authorized the acceptance of approximately 127 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), two new fire hydrant assemblies and one new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 311 3rd Avenue South, also known as Motto Hotel; and,
WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 54 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (DIP), and the acceptance of approximately 65 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP), for property located at 311 3rd Avenue South, also known as Motto Hotel Revision 1, are needed to construct Project No. 24-WL-07; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-053ES-002 on July 12, 2024, for revisions to the original mandatory referral; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2024-368 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2024-368 is hereby amended by deleting section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 54 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (DIP), and to accept approximately 127 linear feet of new eight-inch public water main (DIP), approximately 65 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP), two new fire hydrant assemblies, and one new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 311 3rd Avenue South, also known as Motto Hotel Revision 1, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporate...
