An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and associated easements, for four properties located on West Heiman Street (MWS Project Nos. 22-WL-146 and 22-SL-297 and Proposal No. 2024M-079ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 334 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main and one sanitary sewer manhole, and the acceptance of approximately 1,341 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 2,255 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three new fire hydrant assemblies, 16 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for four properties located at 2404, 2500, 2518 West Heiman Street and West Heiman Street (unnumbered), are needed to construct project numbers 22-WL-146 and 22-SL-297; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-079ES-001 on June 14, 2024, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and associated easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 334 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main and one sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept approximately 1,341 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 2,255 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three new fire hydrant assemblies, 16 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for four properties located at 2404, 2500, 2518 West Heiman Street and West Heiman Street (unnumbered), as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
