An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 6415 and 6419 Holt Road, also known as Williams Mill (MWS Project Nos. 24-WL-52 and 24-SL-190 and Proposal No. 2025M-037ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 4,630 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 3,657 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven fire hydrant assemblies, 19 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 6415 and 6419 Holt Road, also known as Williams Mill, is needed to construct project numbers 24-WL-52 and 24-SL-190; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-037ES-001 on June 11, 2025, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 3,657 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven fire hydrant assemblies, 19 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 6415 and 6419 Holt Road, also known as Williams Mill, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
