An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water and sanitary sewer main, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and to accept new public water main, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 40 White Bridge Pike, also known as Novel Richland Creek, (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-52 and 25-SL-118 and Proposal No. 2025M-147ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 343 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 21 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 647 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 40 White Bridge Pike, also known as Novel Richland Creek, are needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-52 and 25-SL-118; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-147ES-001 on October 7, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 343 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 21 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and to accept approximately 647 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 40 White Bridge Pike, also known as Novel Richland Creek, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorpora...
